Investment Bank,
Manamah, Bahrain.
Her objective is to
accelerate
innovation abilities
in the invesment
banking and Islamic
financial systems.
This is done by
structuring
financial deals for
Mega projects and
private equity
investments in the
Gulf region to
become a major power
in the world.
Dr. Nahed Mohammed
Taher got her BS in
Economics from King
Abdulaziz University
in 1987. In 1994 she
got MA in
International
Economics from King
Abdulaziz
University. In 1998
she obtained her
M.Sc. in Financial
Economics from
University of
Lancaster, UK. In
2001she got her
Ph.D. from the same
university in
Monetary Economic.
After her Ph.D. she
became an Assistant
Professor and Head
of Accounting
Department at King
Abdulaziz
University. She
published five
research papers.

Taher is the CEO of
Gulf One Investment
Bank, Bahrain. She
is also Managing
Partner of Compass
Consulting, Bahrain.

October 2005 she
worked in the
Economics

Arabia, as Senior
Strategic Economist
& Chairman of
Portfolio Management
Committee.
